Dogwood - A Southern Table
The Southern table usually involves cornbread, cast iron, and a whole mess of vegetables. But it’s not truly a Southern table without some genuine hospitality.
That might sound a little old-fashioned, but we’re not afraid to be old-fashioned where it makes sense. This means greeting people at the door, getting to know them a little while they’re here, and thanking them as they leave.
It also means supporting our neighbors, which includes farmers, cheesemakers, brewers, distillers, and other artisans. We still believe that sourcing local ingredients makes a stronger community (and a better dish). What our chef creates with these exceptional ingredients is a mix of classic takes on Southern fare, along with some newer ones.
It’s a constant celebration of Carolina’s abundance, from fresh Sunburst trout with vine-ripened tomatoes to sweet potatoes cooked to pan-fried perfection.
The Carolinas are rich with culinary tradition, craftsmanship, and natural beauty. Dogwood was created to put a spotlight on all this good fortune. The flowers in the vase, the drink in the glass, the reclaimed design elements you’ll find throughout the space—every touch is about sharing the warm and social spirit of the Southern table with our guests.
Come on in. We’ve got your seat ready.
